Bianca Cabrera joined Lingo in 2003 and has performed in projects, Speak to Me, Relatively Real and The Tipping Point. She has also acted as an artistic assistant to KT Niehoff, helping to create class material and choreography for Groundworks Dance Theater (Ohio), the University of Montana as well as Seattle's Spectrum Dance Theater and Velocity's Strictly Seattle Festival. Bianca collaborated with Seattle artist Ephraim Peniston on two video shorts, Cannot Guess Me and You Can Always Go Swimming, which was an installation for a duet with Seattle choreographer Ricki Mason. Bianca's ongoing practice of contact and spontaneous composition has led her to perform improvisation with many of the courageous and riveting artists in Seattle. Bianca began her training in ballet and Graham Technique in 1995 at the Chicago Academy for the Arts. She also trained at the Alvin Ailey School and the Martha Graham Center before finishing a BFA in dance at Cornish College of the Arts.
